Nog eentje waarover ik blijkbaar niets noteerde tijdens het bouwen, het moet ergens in 2003 zijn geweest. De kit is van Revell, en is niet van de kwaliteit welke we vandaag van Revell gewoon zijn. Het was voor mij in eerste instantie een experiment in het schilderenen maskeren van "bloot metaal". Geen al te groot succes: het afplakken van reeds geschilderde vlakken bleek een ramp. Zelfs met plakband met lage kleefkracht kwamen hele lappen verf mee. Sindsdien is er gelukkig Alclad...
Another one on which I apparently didn't make any notes during construction - it must have been sometime in 2003. An old Revell kit, certainly not up to the standards one would expect today. Kit: Revell, built straight out of the box.
Glue: mainly Zap-A-Gap, both super thin and gap filling. White glue for the clear parts.
Putty, polishing compound and masking tape all from Tamiya. Low tack tape by Scotch.
Decals: from the kit
Paint: Humbrol and Testors ModelMasters metalizers.
Airbrush: Badger 150
Weathering: being in a lazy mood, I opted not to weather this one.
Varnish: Revell Matt
